Roachford captures CAC Qualifier

AKOELE ROACHFORD stole the spotlight when the Barbados Equestrian Association held its final two-day Central American and Caribbean Qualifier at the Caribbean International Riding Centre in St Andrew recently.
Roachford dominated aboard Haribo with a score of 65.789 per cent in the Prix St George Class. Second was Britta Pollard, riding Rocky, with 55.526 per cent.
In the preliminary adult class, Alex Hole, riding Moses, was first with 63.966 per cent.
Michelle Thompson, also riding Moses, was second (61.724 per cent), with Jenni Wilson third on JW Merlot (58.621 per cent).
Heather Walker, riding Montana, won the preliminary children’s class with 58.966 per cent. Second was Kabila Roachford, aboard Sion, with 53.966 per cent.
Michelle Thompson won the introductory level Test B adult class on Zinardi with 70.25 per cent. (CH)
