Prime Minister Freundel Stuart yesterday said he was heartened to see that in these challenging times Barbadian businesses were not folding, but like Automotive Art, were doing well and some expanding their businesses.
Stuart, who officially declared the new branch at Welches, St Thomas, open yesterday, also noted the Government was encouraging more Barbadians to become entrepreneurs.
The Prime Minister, after unveiling the plaque to commemorate the occasion, also took a tour of the new facility that boasts six service bays, two commercial service bays and 4 000 square feet of retail space.
Stuart was so fascinated by a sleek racing car on display inside the store, that he had to take a peek at the interior.
