It was everything a bride and groom could want to make their day special, when Courts (Barbados) held its annual Bridal Registry at the megastore yesterday.
Hundreds of curious onlookers gathered on the inside and out, as the limousine moved to and fro dropping off the bridal parties for two “weddings” comprising Courts staff and family members.
In a true wedding setting, both bridal parties made their way up the red carpet in front cheering staff and photographers before settling under the beautifully decorated arch for more pictures.
Managing director Trisha Tannis noted the event was relaunched last year with just one bride, but had been made bigger and better this year by showcasing two “weddings”.
On show were 25 exhibitors, among them manicurists, jewellers, wedding planners, flower arrangers, marriage counsellors and catering services to give tips on how to have the perfect wedding.
People signing up yesterday at the registry also had a chance to win themselves a free honeymoon trip, compliments of LIAT. (CT)
