Former champions Yellow House have taken a 79-point lead going into the break of the Springer Memorial Inter-House Track and Field Championships here at the National Stadium.
With points still to be added for the just-concluded 100 metres, today’s field events, the 800m and 1500m, Yellow House have 354 points and look set to hold on with the like of Tristan Evelyn, Danielle Pollard and Sakina Nicholls in their ranks.
Two-time defending champions Blue House is in the second place with 275 points, Purple is third with 216 and Red is fourth with 203.5. Green House is bringing up the rear with 187.5.
Earlier in the day, Danielle Pollard set a new record in the Divison Four girls’ 200 metres and Sade-Mariah Greenidge also set a new mark in the Division One girls’ event. (SAT)
