Every colour in the rainbow graced the National Stadium as 12 bands crossed the stage to be judged Saturday afternoon for Junior Kadooment.  Thousands of young ones braved the heat and tiny revellers enjoyed themselves in their beautiful and colourful costumes. The stands were filled with young and old with patrons coming to just watch and others to lend support, as was evident by screams of encouragement for children and family members jumping in the bands.  Various hues of burnt orange mixed with red and yellow, mixed shades of blue, greens and golds, captivated the eyes that gazed on the designers’ creations that crossed the stage.  Some of the bands crossing the stage included St Gabriel’s African Journey designed by Renee Ratcliffe; the Community Group Ribbons Of Hope, Wilkie Cumberbatch School with Bugging Out; Reggie Cave with Bays of Barbados; Gwyneth Squires with her band Kids Like It So and Betty West with Bajan Adventure.
