There were thousands of Happy Feet but muddy feet beating down on Farley Hill National Park last Sunday for Soca On De Hill.  From early in the day soca lovers trekked to the Hill to take up their prime positions for what was expected to be a kaiso-filled day.  They braved the showers and partied way into the night to some of this year’s more popular songs.  The line-up of artistes included krosfyah, a reunited Square One with Blood and Alison Hinds up front, Mr Dale, and Li’l Rick who shared the stage with his children Rene, Rickara and Rinicko. They were a hit with the song Happy Feet. Destra out of Trinidad also graced the stage.  Officials at 4D Entertainment, organisers of the show, said they were happy that patrons enjoyed themselves, adding it was an incident-free event.
“We worked at presenting the best mix of soca music from across the region and the best of Crop-Over to the Soca On De Hill patrons,” one official said.
