Less than 48 hours after being announced as a semi-finalist in the MQI/Banks/Lime Pic-O-De-Crop competition, Aziza Lil Az Clarke has advanced to the Scotiabank Junior Calypso Monarch Finals.
The two-time junior champ is among the seven to challenge reigning monarch Samantha Sammy G Greaves in the July 21 finals at the gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex.
After wrapping up the show in the allotted four hours last night, patrons at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre were given the results about half hour later.
The list of finalists in the two categories follow:
