FLYING FISH & COU COU: The million dollar man

The boss man and his crew are wringing their hands in frustration and it does not even have anything to do with the other boss and her crew who are trying to replace them.Word reaching Cou Cou is that the actions of a certain individual have now cost taxpayers over $1.7 million that could have gone to some worthy cause. And it all has to do with an individual who does not seem to know how to dot his i’s or cross his t’s, despite his calling.Cou Cou was eavesdropping at a meeting a few days ago and if the comments made mean anything, an ultimatum could be put to the individual within two weeks’ time. Almost all and sundry want to see him drive off into the sunset. Cricket, lovely cricketThere is a team whose captain is still firmly in charge, but already a few of the players are talking about their positions in the squad and looking at a possible elevation up the batting order. One person is walking about saying he is the number three batsman on the team, rather than adhere to the recent instructions of the captain that team unity and the appearance of team unity are most vital at this stage. No one is questioning who  is the number two batsman yet,  but who knows. There are at least two others who are possible number three batsmen but past team managers and well-wishers have been stressing that irrespective of who bats at two, three or four, they will all still be night-watchmen to the  top batsman. Best wishes all roundCou Cou has been receiving comments recently from people who unanimously offered their prayers and well wishes for a certain individual. In fact, one hundred per cent of the calls have been positive. But there was also one interesting and most informative trend. The comments mostly suggested that they wanted the individual around for as long as possible, and many hoped that he would remain in his current office  past 2023.Whether they were genuine or simply afraid of all the other options on both sides is something which Cou Cou did not ask. Sticks and stones He is known to have a sharp tongue but many are saying that a comment made in jest, and to much laughter recently by a quasi-retired operative about his boss, was most unkind. With a gathering from the same camp around him, an individual was overheard to say that his boss had the potential to go all the way to the top, as long as good health was maintained. He said regular medical checks, including prostate examinations, should  be a priority. Pink slip party There was much jubilation at a certain place when a particular manager was given his wings to fly.Pudding & Souse understands that a group of managers even flew in for the special occasion and to top it all off the disgraced manager was escorted off the premises by the company’s police security. There was much jubilation and rejoicing by staff  members who apparently shouted eight is enough as the manager walked out with his head bent in embarassment.Apparently his downfall had to do with embezzlement of funds, disregard for company policy and major incompetence.
