Dear Christine,
I have two close friends who have been in a relationship for the past year, but theirs is not your everyday relationship – they are gay.
The problem is that one of them has gotten a girl pregnant.
Now they have had their problems, but because of the pregnancy one of them seems really depressed. He has also contracted a sexually transmitted infection from his buddy.
I feel he is quite suicidal.

Dear Confused,
Take your friend to a psychiatrist or trained counsellor to help him deal with his depression and suicidal feelings. Most probably he feels betrayed by his lover going with a woman and to boot, getting her pregnant.
What makes matters worse, is that he has contracted an STI too. That’s like rubbing salt into an open wound.
