USERS OF the popular Brandon’s beach situated along the Spring Garden Highway have over 100 reasons to smile.
It is because of an initiative by two companies – FusionStorm Foundation of America and the National Conservation Commission (NCC)?that saw over 100 trees planted and the beach’s surroundings painted this morning.
John Varel chief executive officer of the San Francisco based company said the tree-planting project was part of an incentive trip for all its engineers and sales staff for outstanding production.
The FusionStorm Foundation was established to raise monetary funds for causes that affect our planet and our daily lives. Their goal is to raise awareness and fund research to solve these issues.
Varel, founder and also chairman of the board of directors, has over 35 years of entrepreneurial expertise founding and managing many successful ventures. He founded FusionStorm in 1995 and has built it into a nationally recognized technical solutions provider with revenues reaching $450 million. (JS)
