Barbados will experience heavy showers and gusty winds later today.
A special weather bulletin issued by the Barbados Meteorological Services at 10 this morning stated that a system is moving west-northwestwards across the island,
“Strong surface winds of 20 to 25 knots are also accompanying this area of disturbed weather which is currently being monitored by the National Hurricane Center for signs of further development” stated the release.
Sonia Nurse of the local Met office said they will be continuing to monitor the progress of this system and will issue further updates as necessary. (CM)
