‘No dispute’

Former chairman of the National Insurance Board, Keith “Tony” Marshall, did not have a dispute with the Minister Responsible For Social Security Dr Esther Byer-Suckoo over the proposed $60 million investment by the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) in the beleaguered Four Seasons project.
Minister of Labour Byer-Suckoo strongly denied the allegation of a row yesterday as she maintained that Marshall’s contract had expired.
“Absolutely not!” she said of the charge. “There was never a dispute. His term expired – he served his term.”
She said she had had a “cordial relationship” with Marshall, a retired banker and prominent talk show host, for many years.
