Countdown to the final

The lively beat of the drums, dee-jay music and the cheering of supporters set the right atmosphere for yesterday’s semi-finals of the Pine Hill National Primary Schools’ Athletic Championships (NAPSAC) at the National Stadium.
With coveted places in the finals on the line, the best from the zone came to show what they could do.
For many of them, it was the end of the road as they were eliminated in individual events or relays.
Others rose to the challenge to take their spot among the best in next Tuesday’s finals.
