Some schools closed

A number of schools will be closed tomorrow.
They are primary schools Wesley Hall Infants and Junior in the City; Hillaby Turners Hall, St. Thomas and Society Primary in St John.
A release from the Government Information Service today states that at Workman’s Primary in St George, only students in classes 3 and 4 will continue to attend school, at the nearby Seventh Day Adventist church.
The release also notes that students at Lester Vaughan Memorial in St. Thomas and Alma Parris Memorial in St Peter should remain at home, while at St. Lucy Secondary only the upper fifth formers should attend classes.
