SOCIAL SCENE: Caring to SAVE

Liesel Daisley and supporters of the SAVE Foundation which she founded to highlight the scourge of domestic violence, were entertained by British High Commissioner Victoria Dean at her official residence last week to mark SAVE’s fifth anniversary.
Amidst cocktails, Minister of Labour Senator Esther Byer Suckoo, the Minister of Social Care, Constituency Empowerment and Community Development Steven Blackett, first counsellor at the European Union Zissimos Vergos and UNDP Resident Representative Stephen O’Malley took time out to speak briefly on domestic violence.
A video on the subject compiled by staff of the British High Commission was also launched.
