It’s Derby time again.
The United Insurance Barbados Derby, one of the most prestigious horse races on the calendar, runs off at the Garrison Savannah tomorrow.
A purse of $68 000 is at stake in the race for three-year-old West Indian-bred animals that is set to get going at 4:55 p.m.
One of the pre-race favourites is Leave It To Me.
Yesterday, the bay filly had a workout at the Garrison with the Panamanian-born, Trindadian-based Nobel Abrego in the saddle.
