THERE?WILL?be no fallout for the Kensington Oval as a result of the postponement of the well-publicized Rihanna Diamonds World Tour concert that was scheduled for next Friday.
A statement yesterday from Live Nation Global Touring, one of the promoters of the event, said the show had to be postponed until next year but did not give a new date.
The official statement cited “technical difficulties associated with the transport of equipment” as the reason for putting off the highly anticipated concert.
Kensington Oval Management Inc (KOMI), managers of the cricket facility, a venue for major entertainment shows, said they had already received a payment booking the facilities for the November 1, 2013 date when the show was scheduled to come off.
Oval won’t suffer by pull-out
