Leaders told: Unite, look for solutions

THIS COUNTRY’S POLITICAL LEADERS have been told to work together to find solutions to the island’s economic and social problems.
The Advocacy and Social Justice Commission of the Anglican Church also wants Barbadians to rise to the challenge of lifting the country out of its current challenges.
In a statement issued yesterday in the face of difficult socio-economic circumstances, the committee comprising leading members of the Anglican community said it recognized that people are hurting and some were giving up hope.
Against this background the statement called on Barbadians to trust Almighty God and keep hope alive while using their skills to overcome the recession and lay the groundwork for an economic rebound.
