Hema Baichu and his passenger Everett Crichlow escaped serious injury this afternoon when the cement truck in which they were travelling overturned just off of the St Thomas roundabout around 12:28 today.
Baichu, 45, of Lot 35 Belair, St George complained of injuries to his right hand, shoulder and foot and he was taken by ambulance for medical treatment. Crichlow did not appear to suffer any injury but he accompanied his workmate in the ambulance.
The truck which was transporting loose cement, was travelling from the north of the island. (KB)
