Reverend Miller reports to police

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Reverend Al Miller has turned himself in to the police.He reported to the Organised Crime Investigation Division in downtown Kingston along with his lawyer Wentworth Charles Wednesday evening. On Tuesday, the police asked the religious leader to immediately report to any station along with his lawyer for questioning after he was seen in the company of then fugitive Christopher “Dudus” Coke. Coke who was held in Ferry, St Catherine was reportedly being transported to the United States Embassy by Miller, when they were intercepted by the police. The police have described Miller as a major person of interest in the matter currently being investigated. They could not say whether he would be charged or if he will be detained overnight. Speaking at a press conference Monday, Police Commissioner Owen Ellington said investigations would be conducted as to why Miller was not also held at the time Coke was taken into custody. Miller was also instrumental in Coke’s sister, Sandra and his brother Leighton Livity Coke turning themselves in to the police.Miller told The Gleaner/Power 106 News that Christopher Coke made the decision to turn himself in because he felt it was in the best interest of Jamaica.
