PUDDING & SOUSE – Business falls through

Share post:

WHEN THREE enterprising individuals came together to form a business, many thought they were on the right track and their business would work because they had vowed to do everything in a

Christian manner.
But now that the business has gone downhill very quickly, people are wondering why the three women did not stick to their original plan.
Apparently, all they did was make promises to their clients, as well as their hardworking staff, who did not get paid for two and three months at a time, even though they were working morning, noon and night to get the business going.
They were forced to work from a small bedroom/office which was more like a boiling pot because the airconditioning never worked.
No wonder some of them walked away without looking back or collecting their hard-earned money when they realised that the good Christian-like atmosphere was quickly replaced by false hope.
Some people who are owed money have not been able to get in touch with any of the parties who started the business.
But these individuals may be in a for a surprise Christmas gift. It seems some people are planning to go to their pastor and ask him to intervene on their behalf.

Road hazard
Concerned residents in a certain rural community are wondering how one of their neighbours has been able to acquire a driver’s licence and insurance when he suffers from major epilepsy and has fits almost every week.
They want to know if he was telling the truth when he said that he has family connections in the police force and the insurance industry, and that is why he did not have to declare his medical condition.
Now less than a month after purchasing a brand new car he suffered an epileptic fit, went unconscious and wrote off the vehicle. Luckily, he suffered no major injuries, but now he has bought another car and is driving again.
Residents are fearful that he may injure some innocent person the next time around. They want to know how he can get behind a wheel again when the police and ambulance personnel were informed about his severe medical condition when he got into the first accident?

Congregation upset
A foreign church leader is still causing havoc at a certain church, and now diehard members of the congregation are leaving.
The latest incident occurred when he wrote on the bulletin board that the choir’s singing was terrible and they should resign. This sent shock waves through the church because the choir has been in existence for 25 years.
Now there is no singing in the church.
Members of the congregation want to know why the hierarchy of the church has not intervened since the foreign church leader keeps declaring that he does not like the Caribbean way and “his church” will become a European church.
Members are praying that he is sent packing soon or else he will be the only person remaining at the church.

New ‘wuk for wuk’
There is a new “wuk for wuk” in town.
People are saying that this  smooth-talking man has been extending his care to every damsel in distress and is making the original “wuk for wuk” look like a choir boy.
He recently got a job for his newest toy at a statutory corporation and she has been bragging about their very close relationship. She runs to him with everything that goes on at the workplace and everyone is afraid to talk to her.
She even told some people that he is paying the $1 000 monthly rent for her apartment and his car is spotted parked outside almost every night.
People are wondering how wifey is taking this since she stood by his side for many years before she got the ring on her finger. The fire galash woman has been hounding the wife and dropping remarks when she turns up at the place where he keeps social gatherings.
Everyone is asking why he keeps this woman around him when she is tarnishing his reputation. They want him to come to his senses before this woman paints his reputation black.
