The legal fraternity today remembered the late Prime Minister David Thompson as a humane individual with a focus on family.
Acting Chief Justice Moore made this comment as tributes were paid to Thompson by the members of the fraternity in the Court of Appeal.
Thompson was admitted to the Bar in 1986.
Thompson’s widow, Mara, daughters Misha and Oya, father Charles and brother Stephen were among the family members sitting in the court.
Also in attendance were Attorney-General Adriel Brathwaite, judges both past and present, magistrates, Queens Counsels and attorneys from the outer bar. (MB)
