Persistent rain which wrecked the Test series is now expected to result in the postponement of the five-match One-Day International series between Sri Lanka and West Indies.
The Sri Lanka Cricket Board is expected to make an announcement later today confirming the move. There has been no word yet from the West Indies Cricket Board.
Next February is being earmarked as the next likely date for the matches to be played.
The first ODI was expected to be played on Thursday at the newly built Suriyawewa Stadium in the southern town of Hambantota. (CMC)
ODI series may move to February
