An unexpected shortage of staff has severely affected operations at LIME today.
Branches at Warrens and Sheraton Centre were closed and posted notices on the doors greeted would be customers.
A radio bulletin also informed members of the public that they would only be able to pay bills at the Windsor Lodge, St Michael office.
It is understood that more than 100 LIME employees reported sick. This is the second time in recent months that LIME was forced to close some of its offices because of a shortage of staff.
Sources indicate that there is a breakdown in wage negotiation talks. (YB)
