Convicted killer Renaldo Anderson Alleyne will have to wait until next year to know just how much more time he has left behind bars at Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds.
The Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) on Wednesday reserved its decision on the Barbadian convict’s appeal, asking lawyers to provide the regional court with a myriad of information concerning the sentences of those found guilty of unlawful killing in Barbados.
This, after an appeal was argued before the Trinidad and Tobago-based court yesterday by lead attorney Arthur Holder, and associates Shadia Simpson, Danielle Mottley and Adonica Spence on Alleyne’s behalf.
Alleyne, now 29, was sentenced to six concurrent life terms back in June 2011 by Justice Elneth Kentish, for his part in a robbery gone bad in Bridgetown, where six young women lost their lives after a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the Campus Trendz store in Tudor Street, on September 3, 2010.
