3 Vincies held in drug haul

THREE?VINCENTIANS are expected to be charged after a boat loaded with drugs was seized on Monday afternoon.
Police reports indicate that an operation carried out by the Drug Squad, assisted by members of the Barbados Coast Guard and the Regional Security System, led to the seizure of ten polyphene bags and one package of cannabis, weighing 323 pounds.
The drugs are valued at about $650 000.
The seizure occurred some eight nautical miles off Needham’s Point, Christ Church. (MK)
