Six lovely lasses took the fight for HIV/AIDS awareness to the busy highways and byways of the south coast yesterday afternoon during rush hour.
The contestants in this year’s Island Queen contest got the attention of commuters at the Rendezvous/Worthing intersection on Highway 7, handing out condoms and promoting the event.
Organisers of the swimsuit contest added what they called “this community component” to highlight social responsibility among the contestants in tomorrow’s event.
