She can cop the prize

Sade Douglas, or “Vanessa” to her friends, comes across as a quiet, dedicated young woman. But while she may be dedicated, Sade is anything but meek and mild.
This 19-year-old has competed in The Banks  Calendar Girl competition and is a promotions  girl with a local entertainment company.
The former student of the Ursuline Convent,  who has nine CXC passes, says she plans  to become a civil engineer. She has attended classes at the University of the West Indies Open Campus and says that having completed  a year of study she knows she has only a few obstacles to achieving her goals.
While she waits for measures to be put into  place so she can get her degree, Sade is not resting  on her laurels. The bubbly teen has applied  to the Royal Barbados Police Force and is awaiting  the completion of the final acceptance process.
Sade is currently employed as a sales associate  in a family-run business.
