De First Citizens Digicel Big Show offered up a musical treat to an almost full house at Plantation Restaurant in St Lawrence, Christ Church on Sunday night.
The refinement of the musical arrangements and the precision of the backing band were a thrill to the audience.
The night belonged to the arrangers and it is a pity that the credits did not recognize the class which they brought to the night’s proceedings.
Serenader’s Sophony In C Minor received warm applause from the spellbound audience. Serenader’s treatment of the song with his clear, honey-coated singing and expert stage craft was a joy to a large mature audience of calypso aficionados.
