Four hurt in smash-up

FOUR PEOPLE, including three children, had to be taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after being involved in a two-vehicle accident in St George yesterday.
A car and a truck were involved in a collision on Lower Greys Road around 8:30 a.m., resulting in injuries to the car’s driver, 46-year-old Kenneth Hunte, and his children, Kenron, 2, Kalisha, 5, and Kanisha, 7.
The father had to be extracted from the vehicle by the Barbados Fire Service.
The truck was driven by 35-year-old Alvin Nurse of Friendship, St George. At right, police officers at the scene. (AH)
