Sweet Potatoes, carrots, onions, and sweet peppers were in abundance yesterday as several small farmers took the opportunity to sell their produce at yesterday’s Vendor’s Fiesta at Spring Garden Highway.
The event, organised by four Government agencies, including the Ministry of Agriculture, was a big hit as Barbadians turned out in their numbers to purchase locally produced goodies.
On sale were a variety of plants, vegetables, ground provisions, clothes, food and preserves.
