A taste of Independence

Date:

Share post:

Nothing quite says it’s Independence like sweet bread, conkies, coconut punch, lemonade and golden apple juice.

These mouth-watering delicacies and beverages were among the items on sale during the Barbados Entrepreneurship Foundation (BEF) Columbus and Scotiabank $20 challenge.

The baked goods and natural juices were made by aspiring chefs Jamela Carter and Thomas Morgan-Jemmott of the Barbados Community College, who created a business called Bajan 2 Dee Bone, which offers Bajan treats. (NATIONNEWS)
