Skipping for Independence

Independence activities continue as Barbados prepares to celebrate its 44th anniversary of Independence next Tuesday.
At the St Bernard’s Primary in St Joseph, students and staff members engaged in pre-Independence day of activities when the school hosted its Culture Day. 
A crowd quickly gathered in the schoolyard as staff member Velda Alleyne taught the students how to play Chinese skip.
