Barbados is limping out of the recession and the country needs time to heal.
Opposition Leader Owen Arthur had some strong words for the Government as he delivered the Budget Reply in Parliament today. He started his presentation at 4 p.m.
“If there are things that need to be done, do them instead of bringing these punitive measures to the House,” he said.
Arthur boasted of the Barbados Labour Party’s track record when it was in Government noting that it had set goals for employment, for development, and the eradication of poverty.
Just do it!
