Republic Bank Limited’s top executive David Dulal Whiteway was in Barbados briefly and said in an exclusive interview there would be no swap of National Insurance Scheme (NIS) shares in the subsidiary bank for equity in the parent company in Trinidad.
However, David Dulal Whiteway said Republic was willing to help NIS get its hands on a significant number of Republic Bank shares through a different method.
