Sir Roy:Make apology public

General Secretary of the Barbados Workers’ Union (BWU) Sir Roy Trotman has questioned why telecommunications giant LIME has not yet made its apology public despite it being ready since last month.
During a media briefing today at Solidarity House, Sir Roy maintained that LIME was guilty of making damaging statements last month about the 97 workers whose services it had terminated and for breaching the process in the industrial relations.
He has, therefore, demanded that LIME proceed with making the apology public, noting that it would have been drafted since around the middle of last month and reviewed by the BWU and the Barbados Employers’ Confederation.
He said the final copy was ready.
