St Andrew tribute

The historical value of St Andrew’s Anglican Church to the parish was highlighted at yesterday’s second St Andrew Carnival.
The carnival’s organizers said they were paying tribute to the place of worship because of its historical importance to the parish, but pointed out the church was in no way associated with the hosting or sponsorship of the event.
Hundreds of revellers from the different villages left Shorey Village and partied their way to Belleplaine Community Centre for a community craft and vendors’ market.
