Stay committed!
That was the message sent to the Fair Trading Commission by Minister of Trade and Commerce, Senator Haynesley Benn on Friday night.
The minister offered the advice whilst giving his opening remarks at the FTC’s eighth annual lecture at the Accra Beach Hotel.
“The FTC has in part changed the national dialogue in regard to consumer issues. You are seen as an organisation that is prepared to inquire and investigate on behalf of the public, and for this I applaud you and encourage you to continue to be vigilant, not only about consumer rights, but also to make their responsibilities known far and wide,” Benn said.
