Teenager Ryan Griffith, 17, survived a savage attack by two dogs that left him with 36 bites Sunday night. He was mauled as he cut through Mount Tabor Heights, St John, on his way home to nearby Claybury about 7:30 p.m.
The dogs, two Akitas, charged him,?Griffith said, backed him into the bushes and began biting him.
Carol Toppin: “Owners need to be held responsible”.
Fabian The Barbadian Blackman: ” It’s not a case of breed or size of dog it’s a case of owners not taking responsibility for their animals. Had Akitas for years and they never attacked anyone or even got out of my yard”.
