Man charged for ice-cream vendor’s shooting

POLICE HAVE ARRESTED and charged another man in connection with the shooting and robbery of ice-cream vendor Curtis Hade.
Llewellyn David Mayers, 20, of 2nd Avenue, Gooding Land, Deighton Road, St. Michael, has been charged with robbery and serious bodily harm.
The offences were committed on July 17, 2013 when Hade was shot and robbed while plying his trade at 8th Avenue. Harts Gap, St. Matthias, St. Michael.
On September 6, 2013 police held  Javere Antonio Dillon Yarde, 19, alias Big Head of Block 2C, Field Place, Bayville, St. Michael, in relation to this matter.
He received three criminal charges and is currently on remand.
Mayers is expected to appear at the District “A” Magistrates Court today. (PR/NB)
