Vandals hit Brittons Hill

?THE QUIET of a Brittons Hill, St  Michael, neighbourhood was shattered last night when four teenagers vandalized a parked car and threw several stones on the roofs of houses.
This was the latest in a number of stone-throwing incidents by the teenagers, but residents said it escalated last night when they severely damaged a car owned by Don Phillips, who was not at home at the time.
Upset resident Sumania Cadogan, who lives at the corner of Rollock Road and Brittons Park, said she was sitting outside her home with a friend and her children, around 10:30 p.m when the four boys came into the neighbourhood and “caused a riot” forcing them to run for cover.
“I was sitting out here with my friend and my children when all of a sudden we just see big rocks coming down and we had to get up and run in the house. They pelt rocks on the roofs, lick up people houses and some of the rocks fly over by an old woman who lives next door to me,” Cadogan cried.
She said she cowered inside her home covering her ears from the loud sound of broken glass as the boys started to vandalize her neighbour’s car which was parked in front of his house.
