Principal and?Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of the West Indies (UWI) Cave Hill Campus, Sir Hilary Beckles, had every reason to flash a smile yesterday after getting Government’s assurance of financial  commitment to the cash-strapped Campus.
The principal reminded the new students that it was not the “Usain Bolt slip” at the start that mattered, but the Bolt acceleration at the finish, as he addressed new students at the matriculation ceremony.
