Airport parking fees to increase

Parking fees at the Grantley Adams International Airport are going up from December 1.

According to a notice from the Grantley Adams International Airport Inc (GAIA), carried in the press today, car park patrons will have to pay $2 for thirty minutes parking, while the current two-dollar charge for one hour, goes to three dollars per hour “for over thirty minutes but less than six hours”.

The flat rate for six hours but less than 24 hours will be $18, while the daily rate goes to $24.

For parking cards lost within a 24-hour period patrons will also be paying a flat rate of $49 which includes the $24 parking fee.

Cards lost for a period of parking exceeding 24 hours will incur the $49 charge plus any parking fees incurred. (GC)
