PORT-OF-SPAIN – Since his defeat at the May 24 general election former prime minister Patrick Manning has not been regularly seen at many public functions.
Manning, a past pupil of Presentation College, San Fernando, attended the college’s Past Students Family Day which was held at the college compound, Carib Street, San Fernando Monday.
The function was organised to raise funds for the association.
Basdeo Panday, a former prime minister and past student of the college, also attended the function and was seen playing a friendly game of cards with his former associates.
Panday said attending the function was nothing new.
“I always enjoy the company of past students,” he said.
The Express learnt that the college intends to organise a football match with Manning leading one team and Panday the other. (Trinidad Express)
