‘Nuff’ Pan Pun De Sand

ELEVEN?STEEL?PAN GROUPS, including two from Trinidad and Tobago, will perform at the BS&T Pan Pun De Sand, now one of the most anticipated events of Barbados’ Crop Over Festival.
This was disclosed yesterday as chief executive officer of BS&T Anthony King handed over a $60 000 sponsorship cheque to the National Cultural Foundation’s (NCF) CEO, Dr Donna Hunte-Cox, at a Press conference at Weiser’s Restaurant at Brandon’s beach.
Pan Pun De Sand will be held on that beach on Sunday, July 17.
The Holetown Harmonites and Tropical Steel will be playing for the first time at the increasingly popular event which attracted 10 000 patrons last year. (CT)
