New BLP executive

THE TOP BRASS of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) remains unchanged.
Following internal elections today on the final day of the 80th annual conference, Prime Minister Mia Mottley remains president and George Payne chairman. Senator Jerome Walcott will also continue as general secretary.

Meanwhile, Davidson Ishmael was elected as treasurer after former treasurer Reginald Farley was appointed as High Commissioner-designate to Canada.
First vice-president is Minister of People Empowerment Cynthia Forde, second vice-president is Minister in the Ministry of Transport, Works and Maintenance Peter Phillips, while third vice-president is Minister of Maritime Affairs Kirk Humphrey. (AD)
