The ?popular LIME Pelican Football Challenge, organised by former Deputy Prime Minister, Mia Mottley, continues to attract politicians from both the ruling Democratic Labour Party and the opposition Barbados Labour Party.
On Thursday night, St John Member of Parliament Mara Thompson (left) joined owner of one of the ten participating franchises, Kelvin Howell, on the substitutes’ bench to watch the goalless draw between his St John-based outfit, Scotty’s Combined Stars, and DirectTV Red Snappers.
Among the others spotted were former parliamentarians Noel Lynch, Trevor Prescod and Delisle Bradshaw and ex-senator Rudy Grant and St Thomas MP?Cynthia Forde Senator Irene Sandiford-Garner and BLP candidates Santia Bradshaw and Indar Weir have also attended. (EZS)
