11 hurt in accident

Eleven people suffered various injuries today after a collision between a route taxi and a motor truck along Worthing Main Road, Christ Church.
The accident, which occurred around 10:15 a.m. in the area of Mojo Restaurant, saw persons ranging from 19 to 73 years old, complaining of neck, back, shoulder and knee injuries.
Police Public Relations Officer Inspector David Welch, confirmed that five of the injured were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by five ambulances while the others sought private medical attention.
