SEAMER Tennyson Roach singlehandedly kept Caribbean Lumber YMPC’s hopes of gaining first innings points alive with a splendid seven-wicket haul as 17 wickets tumbled on the first day of their mid-table battle with ESA Field Pickwick.Roach snared all the wickets to fall for 37 runs from 11.2 overs in an unbroken spell that reduced the visitors to 116 for seven in response to  YMPC’s modest 128 all out off 36.5 overs.The home team took the obvious decision to bat first on winning the toss in sunny conditions but only opener Jed Yearwood and middle order bat Shamar Cooke displayed the patience required to master he slow, holding pitch.
