“It feels good to be 25,” says birthday girl Katrina Yearwood.“I am happy and healthy; I have a wonderful son and a fiancé, and a great job. I couldn’t ask for more really,” she gushes. A working mum with a five-year-old, Katrina manages a car rental company and says that at first she was a bit of a doormat. “Clients used to try to take advantage because I am a woman, but my fiancé taught me to be tough and now I can handle myself and them without issue,” she says.Katrina also does hair and nails for herself and a few clients because she says she likes “to be pretty and to help others be pretty”. But when she isn’t working she insists that her time is for her son.“I had him early, so unfortunately I had to postpone my plans to study, but I don’t mind at all; I want to be a good mum and my study time will come later,” she says.
